Legendary film star Ava Gardner said, ‘I always loved too well, but never wisely.’ Assaf brings Gardner to life in this critically-acclaimed one-woman play.
Ava Gardner is in her trailer on the set of the movie ‘Earthquake,’ angry at her producer, angry at Frank Sinatra, angry at the director and angry at life. Tucked away in her dressing room bungalow, she does battle with her past. Only a fool would bet against Ava.
Reviewers in L.A. called the show:
‘Spellbinding,’ ‘Entertaining and Intriguing,’ saying ‘Assaf carries herself with Old Hollywood bearing... in one captivating performance.’ ‘A Tour de Force!’
